I love snow globes….my Mum has a beautiful collection of globes that I am kinda jealous of……I have one Christmas Snow Globe that depicts the Nativity. This year in the theme of my “Handmade Christmas” I thought I would create my own version of a snow globe. My version is sooo easy a child could do it (my daughter even helped me with this) and it is not permanent so you can pull it apart at the end of the Christmas season!
To create one yourself you will need the following:
Put Blu Tack on the bottom of the tree and push it down onto your wood slice (if you don’t have a wood slice you can easily do this on a plate).
Do the same with the deers….you will see the Blu Tack, but that will get covered by the snow.
Sprinkle your snow around…..under the deers and around the tree and make sure to put enough on to cover the Blu Tack (if you are wondering where to find fake snow I picked mine up for $2 from the dollar store).
Put the glass cloche over your scene and you are done!
See I told you it was easy! Stay tuned for more from my Handmade Christmas series….
