Vintage Industrial Nursery

No, this isn’t my way of telling you I am pregnant, or had a secret baby or that we are adopting…..no baby here! Sorry! This is the home of one of my incredible photography clients and when I saw this nursery I begged her to let me share it with you because it is beyond cute. Plus, if I ever had another baby this is what I imagine the room to look like with lots of vintage touches, some wood, with a little mix of modern.

The corner shelves are handmade by a friend and made from old doors…..all I can say is that we all need friends like this!

I love how they frame the modern cot and the use of the linen canopy helps to marry the old and new.

I love when people use dresser and drawers as change tables, it makes it functional but then works in the room as your child ages.

I think we all need one of this little vintage style cars…….

I love all the layers of grey throughout the room…..grey is by far my favourite neutral and works for a baby boy or girl.

I tried to work out how to get the shelves into my photography bag on my way out but unfortunately it was a no go…..I am thinking I need to make some myself. What I like about these it that they have the glass panels, most of the versions I have seen online are all solid wood, I think the glass just adds a distinctive detail. What do you think? Is this not the perfect nursery?
